My buddy, Rob, talked me into flying from Raleigh to Boston for a day to celebrate the Boston Red Sox conquest of the 2007 World Series. Here are some pictures from downtown Boston and a few of the parade floats. It was really hard to get good shots of the Red Sox players as they road past us on the Duck Boats, but believe me, it was awesome! Tuesday, Oct. 30th 2007 shall be remembered by all for a long time…

People are out early in Beantown for the parade!

This is where Massachusetts makes its laws.

Can’t say I disagree with these people.

Park Street Crowd

Government Center Revelers

The weather was perfect for a parade!

This guy was really excited about the Sox. Notice the Boston PD laughing at him.

Amen!

It took a long time, but it eventually spelled “Red Sox Nation”

This guy was so happy for the Sox that he climbed a street light!

He can see the duck boats coming!

These are the geeks with the money who make championships possible, thanks owners!

Tito, you don’t have to be nervous anymore, you won, dude!

Manny Delcarmen and his Bull Pen band!

Papelbon, Timlin, Dropkick Murhpys, etc. They rocked.

Kyle, Rob’s sister, and Rob. Will we be back in 2008?
